I am so excited you have landed in my little corner of the Internet!

What you can expect from this blog is tips and tricks I find useful in maintaining a life that comes in under budget. This includes healthy saving and spending, home renovation, DIY projects, and design inspiration.

I want to preface by saying, I do not claim to be an expert in any category. I do a ton of research and like to try new things, but there is still a lot out there for me to learn and I hope you follow along as we learn together!

This decision to start a blog as a hobby came in 2017 when we started renovating our 1950’s home. During this process a major source of my inspiration and knowledge came from home improvement blogs and Instagram.

I’m also an advocate for a good DIY. It’s something to be proud of . . . I made that, can you believe it! Also, why overspend when you could make it for less with your own personal touch. I think that is where my frugality comes into play as well.

Which brings us to the main focus of this blog; my love to save and invest.

Saving for me runs deep! My husband asked me, “If you were a multimillionaire, would you still shop around for deals?” Without hesitation, I said, “Of course!”

I’m not ashamed, a dollar saved is a dollar earned . . . to be invested in a low cost index fund.

If you already know me, then you know I am always thinking about the future. Grind now to enjoy the fruits of labor later. That is partially the reason why we took so long to take some days off work for our honeymoon.

I enjoy renovating our home and the transformation process that comes with it. I’m hoping you can find this collaboration of ideas useful in your life. Whether it be striving for financial stability, home renovating, design, or DIY projects. That way we can all live Life Under Budget!
